We now live in a networked world where every object can be tracked, traced and connected to sound. Sound and music can be embedded in lifestyle objects, wearables, environments and artworks. What are the new creative formats which can allow you to experience music? What can we create that makes the most of digital technology in a tangible, ownable interface with its own personal meanings and potential for shaping the art of music itself? This workshop explores the new space of connected products for the music industry. We will break down the artificial barrier between digital and physical, and rethink music formats as an experience for fandom and consumption, and an inspiration for artists and musicians.
