Anna Gilyova is a participant of the 18th International Book Fair for High-Quality Fiction and Non-Fiction, where the United Kingdom will be the Country of Honour this year as a part of the UK-Russia Year of Language and Literature 2016.


Anna Gilyova is the Head of Public Programmes of a website about new knowledge, “Theory and Practice” and a co-founder of Pecha Kucha Night Moscow – edutainment parties with short presentations. She has experience working as an editor, journalist and producer across various different media channels: NTV channel, The Village, In Style and Bolshoi Gorod magazines. Anna Gilyova developed the ‘Third Place’ and portals and used to work at the Moscow’s Digital October centre as the Educational Programmes’ Curator. Anna holds a PhD in Philology, for which she researched the language used in British newspapers.
