The Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Moscow and British Council UK invite Early Career Researchers from Russia to apply for participation in the Professional Development Course on Scientific Writing and Publishing Skills.
The course will be delivered by the University of York and will enable Early Careers Researchers to prepare, structure and submit research papers for successful application in the UK and international scientific journals. The programme will include 13 hours of live sessions over two weeks, including live input sessions, small-group coaching sessions as well as asynchronous learning activities using the University of York Virtual Learning Environment.
Dates
The course will take place virtually between 24 January - 3 February 2022 with some introduction sessions in December.
Deadline and Eligibility
We invite applications from Early Career Researchers based in Russia in universities and research institutes engaged in Doctoral/PhD (aspirantura) and postdoctoral research.
The applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Be a Russian citizen,
- Be enrolled in a Doctoral/PhD (aspirantura) and postdoctoral research at an accredited Russian university,
- Fluent in written and spoken English as the course will be delivered in English.
Applications must be submitted to futurescience.ukrussia@gmail.com by the end of the day on Friday, 5 November 2021, 23.59 Moscow time. Successful applicants will be notified by 20 November 2021.
