We welcome teachers of English to take part in the "English Language Teacher Competences" webinar on 29 May 2014 at 16:00 at the British Council Russia office.
Every English language teacher is familiar with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which presents six reference levels of language proficiency or in other words "anguage competences". CEFR is a guideline that helps teachers to monitor the progress of their students. But what about teachers’ progress?
In this webinar we will look at different classifications of competences for English language teachers, clarify the relevant criteria, examine various levels, compare them and identify what stage you are at in order for you to be able to come up with your own strategies for developing and achieving higher level competences.
