All our students are actively using Facebook, VK and other social networks. Typical teen communication problems such as bullying, targeting or harassing others have also gone online — and it has become much more difficult for teachers and parents to prevent or stop them.
At this workshop we will look at:
- what can be considered cyberbullying;
- some ways to integrate cyberbullying awareness activities into our everyday English lessons;
- lesson plans and web resources that can be used in the English lessons to discuss and prevent the issue;
- privacy settings on popular social networking sites that can be useful for both teachers and learners.
