We invite English teachers to the British Council office in Moscow to the seminar Using Arts And Crafts In Teaching Young Learners.
If you are asked to say what young learners like doing most of all apart from playing games, I am sure that anyone immediately would say that they like drawing, colouring, crafting. It is natural for this age group and they are always excited about any of these activities. We all know that doing that the children develop the imagination, fantasy, coordination of hand and eye and get the experience of creative work. In the workshop we will see how to bring arts and crafts into English language teaching, to involve young learners into learning through doing. We will try to make the zig-sag book, pop-up book, a board game and some puppets of the recycled materials. So, for some time each of you will feel like a child again. Bring the scissors and coloured pencils with you to enjoy most of the workshop activities.
The entrance is free, the registration is required.
