British Council Russia, the Documentary Film Centre and the school of foreign languages, BKC-IH are pleased to announce the upcoming Educational Saturday, the last one to be held this year.

On 20 December at 17:00 at the Documentary Film Centre (Zubowski bulvar, 2) we will screen a film by Julie Moggan, Guilty Pleasures.

Mills & Boon sell over seven million romance novels a year in the UK and export to 109 countries around the world, with annual global sales of 200 million. This film examines the allure of the fantasy world created by Mills & Boon, introducing three enthusiasts who want to believe that the romantic fantasy can transcend their everyday lives.

The screening will be in English with no translation. After the screening there will be a discussion with Alex Zagorac, the CELTA and DELTA certified BKC-IH tutor, who is a specialist in communicative methodology.

All visitors will have chance to win prizes from the British Council and partners — books on British arts and culture.

Attendance is free, registration is required. Age category — 18 +.
