Blogger - Kristijan Rajkovic
My name is Kristijan Rajkovic. I come from Belgrade, Serbia, where I work for the British Council as an English Project Manager. I am passionate about English Language Teaching and learning and teachers’ professional development. Teachers of English are at the heart of my work and I am proud to say that I have organised some of the biggest teacher training events in Serbia, such as the Special Education Needs and Inclusive Education Conference, as well as workshops all around the country. This is my second time at the Forum and in Moscow, and I am looking forward to meeting teachers in Russia and neighbouring countries, hearing about new trends in ELT and exchanging ideas with colleagues. Since I enjoy writing I will be blogging and my job at the Forum will be to make sure you get a detailed report from the sessions.

I work as an English Language programmes manager at the British Council in Uzbekistan where I am in charge of teacher development programmes, both face-to-face, on-line and blended. I have an MA in TEFL from the School for International Training, US and I had worked as a teacher and teacher trainer for about 10 years before I joined the British Council. So, I am genuinely interested in teacher development and ELT. I have recently developed an appetite for IT for learning and teaching. This is my second time at the Emerging Forum in Moscow, and I am looking forward to being in the centre of teacher discussions, ideas sharing and professional networking with ELT professionals. Together with my colleagues from the British Council I will be blogging during the conference for those of you who will be watching us on-line.

This year I have been given an opportunity to try video blogging and I am really excited about it. E-Merging Forum gathers experts from different areas of ELT and I am looking forward to meeting interesting people and learning something new.
