Music Specialist in Creative Economy Department
General aim is to develop, deliver and evaluate the British Council Russia contemporary music programme in 2017-18 that includes 5 events:
- the UK music and science & technology programme at Synthposium festival 24-27 August
- four Selector PRO sessions in September, November 2017 and January and March 2018.

Role overview
Main tasks:
- the programme development and management of the UK artists and experts
- partnership building/management with relevant stakeholders
- marketing and communications around the programme
- event management of the programme on site
- budget and contract management related to the programme
- evaluation and reporting to the line manager.
Required skills:
- excellent command of English
- knowledge of music market in Russia and UK
- proven experience in development and realisation of communication strategies
- big scale events management
- excellent skills in writing articles, presentations and press-releases.
Personal characteristics: good communication skills, highly responsible, team player, result oriented, attentive to detail.
Supporting Information: the work-load period will take 17 days within each event (5 days of preparation, 5 days of delivery and 2 days for exit and evaluation). Please find description of projects below.
