The Vladimir Potanin Foundation, in partnership with the British Council and the State Polytechnic Museum, announces an open call for applications for the “Museum Leadership School” workshop for young professionals. The workshop is considered for museum professionals who have between 3 and 6 years of work experience in this sphere.
This workshop is a part of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation programme “Museum Bridges” which aims to help Russian museum professionals broaden their expertise, acquire new knowledge and skills and get an insight into the work of the best Russian and foreign institutions working in the cultural, arts and educational sectors.
The “Museum Leadership School” has two components: lectures by both British and Russian museum professionals and practical sessions in Moscow museums. Themes of the course include strategic planning in museums, audience development, partnership management and management of partnership projects, local communities’engagement, storytelling practises and marketing of museum projects. The Speakers were selected by the British Council in partnership with leading cultural institutions of the UK.
Workshop dates –15-22 October 2017.
The group will consist of up to 30 people.
The course will be conducted in English.
Museum Leadership School is part of the British Council’s Future Culture.
