The UK-Russia Year of Music 2019–20 celebrated the UK’s and Russia’s rich musical cultures through a programme that fostered people-to-people contacts and mixed showcasing, professional development and exchange, digital partnerships and media projects and engagement with young people.
The UK programme for Year of Music included over 200 events, involved over 500 UK participants and covered an extraordinary range of musical genres. Our events were hosted all across Russia, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, and showcased the excellence, inclusiveness and diversity that define the UK.
