The University Alliance programme connects UK and Russian universities, research organisations and early career researchers.
The purpose of the University Alliance programme is to engage the leadership of Russia’s top universities and connect the next generation of Russia’s science leaders with the UK by expanding research collaboration and academic exchange.
The University Alliance programme will deliver the following activities:
- Professional development grants for early career researchers
- University partnerships
- Professional workshops, policy forums and events
The University Alliance programme will take place from November 2020 to March 2021 and will engage more than 50 universities from Russia and the UK to participate in the joint research and online forums. The key topics of mutual interest include academic mobility, cofinancing of research projects as well as the increase of joint degree programmes offered by the universities in Russia and the UK.
